The drive into the Grand Tetons

The main road and campgrounds in the Grand Tetons sit at a lower altitude than Yellowstone.  Once you leave the ring of mountains around Yellowstone the weather gets warmer and it is dryer.  A welcomed change.  But that does not change the fact that everything is beautiful.

A side point.  As we were driving down the mountain with the windows down, the Tetons before us, and beauty on the left and right sides of the road, "Running on Empty" by Jackson Brown came on the radio.  It was an awesome driving experience.
